Voice of the store

Every store tells you what it saw tonight. Tomorrow morning it is fixed.

Associates and store managers talk for 90 seconds at close. Storesignals turns what they say into work for the one person at headquarters who can act on it, and tells the store what happened the next morning.

No app to install. A text link, a phone browser, and email.

Storesignals · Store 47, AustinTonight 7:42 pm · Maya
Hi Maya. This week: the Back-to-School laptop promo and the Galaxy S26 launch. What did you see today, and which sale got away?
0:48The sign says $41 a month but the register only has it on the store card, two people walked. Everyone asks about the S26 camera and the demo has no sample photos, I show mine and they buy. We moved headphones behind the TV wall and sold almost none.
Got it. Three signals, sent to their owners:
Promo sign vs register financing campaign · today S26 demo has no sample photos category Headphones hidden behind TV wall visual · store mgr
I will text you at 8:30 tomorrow with what happened.
Hold to talk
How it works

A 90-second voice note becomes a work item, an aggregated issue, and a morning reply.

1 · Talk

Three questions at close

Written from this week's promos and launches. Push to talk, skip anything. 90 seconds for associates, two minutes twice a week for managers.

2 · Extract

Every sentence becomes a signal

Campaign, new product, price and label, layout, customer behavior, a line that sells, something broken. Each one cites the words it came from.

3 · Route

One owner, one issue

Twenty stores saying the same thing become one ranked issue for campaign, category, pricing, or visual merchandising. Owners reply by email to close it.

4 · Close the loop

8:30 the next morning

The person who spoke hears what happened. The line that sold the S26 camera reaches everyone selling it.

Why now

The best information about a campaign is on the sales floor at 7 pm, and it never reaches headquarters.

"The sign says $41 a month. At the register it is only on the store card. Two customers walked."Sales associate · reported by 23 stores in two days · fixed the same afternoon once it was one issue instead of 23 voice notes

What exists today

  • Task and comms platforms push work from headquarters to stores. The reverse channel is a form nobody fills in after a shift.
  • Employee surveys are quarterly and owned by HR.
  • Store assistants answer associates' questions; they do not act on what associates know.

What Storesignals is, and is not

  • Owned by store operations and merchandising, priced per store per month.
  • Not an HR tool. No per-person scores, no voice biometrics, no mood analysis. Headquarters never sees an associate's name.
  • Audio is deleted the moment it becomes text. Transcripts stay in a US region under your retention rule.
Built on Claude

Claude does the extraction, routing, and synthesis, on Amazon Bedrock with zero data retention.

Sonnet 5Signal extraction with cited spans; reads label and shelf photos
Haiku 4.5Routing confidence, cross-store dedupe, the morning messages
Opus 5Review queue and the weekly cross-store narrative for HQ

Speech-to-text runs separately and is redacted for personal data before any transcript reaches a model. Nothing trains on customer data. Single-tenant and bring-your-own-cloud deployments for enterprise chains.

Pilot

Ten stores, thirty volunteers, four weeks, one campaign launch.

Ten control stores for comparison. At week four you get a table: hours from observation to action, issues closed within seven days, and conversion on the launch in pilot stores versus the rest.
